2016: Year of Mercy
Clonard Monastery have organised a special pilgrim event on the last Fri of each month from 3-4.30pm (starting 29th Jan) These events will include prayer & reflection , walk through Holy Door, a short walk along the peace line finishing with an opportunity for people to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation.. Everyone welcome.
Sacristan Team Needed
Our Sacristy team is retiring very soon. Due to the nature of the job…with irregular hours..we feel that a Job Share Basis would be more convenient. Maximum hours will be 30 hours per week. If anyone is interested in the position please contact priests /parish office for an Application Pack.

St. Gerard’s Bethany Group :
Have been trained by the Diocese to take part in the Liturgy of Funerals. They will assist the Priest by accompanying him to homes & Funeral Homes—eventually helping in the preparation of the Funeral Liturgy. We require more volunteers to help with this work. New Training Course will start in September in Good Shepherd Centre. If Interested , or for more information, please contact one of the Priests or Parish Office.
Children’s Rooms :
We request that parents with young children use the Children’s Rooms at the front of the Church. This will enable the children to see more clearly what is happening on the Altar and learn at an early age to participate more fully in the Mass
Creative Kidz Ni Summer Scheme : will be held in the Community Centre, for children aged 5-12 years, Monday 25th July to Fri 5th August from 9.30am to 1.30pm each day. Please contact 0770 412 0070 / 0779 516 0966.
