2016: Year of Mercy

Clonard  Monastery have  organised a special pilgrim event on the last Fri of each month from 3-4.30pm (starting 29th Jan) These events will include prayer & reflection , walk through Holy Door, a short walk along the peace line finishing with an opportunity for people to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation..  Everyone welcome.             


 


Bethany Group

Have been trained by the Diocese to take part in the Liturgy of Funerals.  They will assist the Priest by accompanying him to homes & Funeral Homes—eventually helping in the preparation of the Funeral Liturgy.

will be held on Sunday24th April @ 11.30am Mass.  

SPRED members will participate in the Mass.


SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR UKRAINE :

The Pope in his Angelus Address on Sunday 3rd April (Divine Mercy Sunday) called for a special Collection for the people of Ukraine.  

The collection will be taken up at all Masses in the Diocese on Sunday 24th April.


PASTORAL AREA—DAY OF MERCY :

Venue this month is St Gerard’s Church on  Friday 29th April (11am to 8pm).  The day consists of Eucharistic Exposition, time for prayer,   confession & counselling.  All the priests of the Pastoral area will be celebrating this event.  All welcome.
